Shabari is a sattvic kitchen rooted in the most tender food story in Hindu tradition — a place where every meal is an act of love, every ingredient chosen with the care of a devotee.
अन्नं ब्रह्म रसो विष्णुः भोक्ता देवो महेश्वरः
Food is Brahma; flavor is Vishnu; the one who eats is Shiva. — Taittiriya UpanishadShabari
In the Valmiki Ramayana, a tribal woman named Shabari waited decades in the forest for the arrival of Sri Rama. When he finally came, she had nothing to offer but wild berries — so she tasted each one to ensure it was sweet enough for him. Rama ate them with joy, saying her love made them the finest fruit he had ever tasted.
That is the spirit of this kitchen. Not luxury ingredients or elaborate technique — but the intention behind every dish. Food prepared with devotion, offered with love, received as prasad.
Shabari serves pure vegetarian food rooted in Ayurvedic principles — no onion, no garlic, no meat. Every dish is prepared with fresh, seasonal, and where possible, Prana Farm-grown ingredients.
No onion, no garlic, no meat. Our menu follows the sattvic dietary principles of Ayurveda — foods that calm the mind, nourish the body, and elevate the spirit.
Our menu changes with the seasons. Much of what we serve comes directly from Prana Farm — organic vegetables, herbs, and fruits grown on the Panchavati campus next door.
Every dish begins with an intention — a small prayer before cooking. We believe food prepared in a calm, loving state carries that energy to the one who eats.
Shabari sits within the Panchavati campus in Celina, Texas — surrounded by sacred cows, open land, and a working organic farm. Dining here is an experience of the whole ecosystem.
We are building the kitchen, cultivating the garden, and training the team. Join our waitlist and we will let you know the moment we open our doors.
